SIRI LANGONE
Siri Langone surveys and subverts memory, found images, and artistic narratives through her paintings and sculptures, which seek to unearth deep feelings of vulnerability, frustration, and desire. Her work frequently draws on human experience and the collective unconscious, functioning as a kind of universal map—an abstract charting of shared psychic terrain. Both her canvases and her sculptural forms act as symbolic gestures, with the sculptures often taking on map-like qualities, evoking spacious mind maps or fragmented topographic landscapes. Through defaced figures and dark, gritty textures, her visual language reveals the contours of the collective inner world while tracing the shifting geography of her own mind and creative process.
